Kurobe Dam, located in the Kurobe Gorge, is a popular tourist spot that attracts over 800,000 visitors annually, thanks to its "tourist water release" from late June to mid-October.
Toyama Kansui Park

This waterfront space, utilizing the former boat basin of the Fugan Canal, offers a place to connect with Toyama's nature and water, and allows visitors to experience its history. The restaurant, popular for being one of the most beautiful in the world, is also a unique tourist attraction in Toyama.
Amaharashi Coast (sea fog)
About an hour by train from the hotel.
From Amaharashi Coast, you can see the 3,000-meter-high Tateyama mountain range across Toyama Bay. On winter mornings with significant temperature fluctuations, the "kearashi" (sea fog) that spreads across the sea surface creates a fantastical sight.
World Heritage Site: Gokayama Gassho-zukuri Village
Approximately 2 hours from the hotel by train and bus.
Currently, 23 thatched-roof houses known as "gassho-zukuri" still exist and are inhabited by people. Designated a World Heritage Site in 1995, it is one of Toyama's most representative landmarks.

Toyama Bay is one of Japan's leading fishing grounds, and you can savor fresh seafood that reflects the season, such as the jewels of Toyama Bay, white shrimp, firefly squid, and Himi yellowtail.

From September to the end of May, you can enjoy red snow crab in Toyama Bay. At Shinminato Fishing Port, auctions are held twice a day, and the red carpet of red snow crabs is a striking sight.

Himi yellowtail, the king of winter yellowtail in Toyama Bay, is one of the nation's leading yellowtail fishing grounds. Yellowtail shabu-shabu, yellowtail and daikon radish stew, and salt-grilled yellowtail can be enjoyed from early December to late February.
