Nara Hotel was established in 1909 (Meiji 42) as a guesthouse for the Kansai region.
In order to fulfill our responsibility as a hotel that has walked hand in hand with the history of the ancient capital of Nara,
We will continue our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and conserve energy, protecting the rich natural environment of Nara Park.

    By implementing measures such as introducing LED lighting, controlling air conditioning systems, and setting employees' computers to energy-saving configurations, we are reducing energy consumption and contributing to the prevention of global warming.

    For guests staying two nights or more who wish to have their sheets changed during cleaning, we ask that you place the eco-card provided in your room on the bed to help reduce detergent wastewater.

    We are gradually introducing the "Bonheur Shower Head," which saves up to 65% of water, into our guest rooms to reduce water usage.

    Waste, including plastic bottles and aluminum cans, is collected by recycling companies and either recycled or sorted and disposed of.

    We support an initiative to recycle food waste from kitchens into animal feed.

    By actively utilizing locally sourced ingredients and sourcing local produce, we contribute to reducing energy and CO2 emissions associated with transportation.
