Main Building
Main Building retains the charm of its founding days.
The Western equivalent of a state guesthouse, the epitome of a classic hotel.
Main Building, constructed in 1909, is a Momoyama-style palace made of cypress wood, designed by architect Kingo Tatsuno.
The hotel has 62 guest rooms on the first and second floors, divided into parkside rooms facing Nara Park and townside rooms facing Nara-machi. Many rooms have Mantelpiece (fireplace), and the furnishings exude the elegance of their respective eras.
