115 used coasters upcycled into ornaments
We upcycled 115 coasters that were scheduled to be discarded after being used in TEA LOUNGE and bar, by cutting them into the shape of the 115th anniversary symbol, the "driving wheel," and transforming them into ornaments.
The driving wheel is a symbol that can be considered the driving force of Nara Hotel, which was used to decorate tableware, glasses, and pianos during the time when the museum was directly managed by the Railway Board and the Ministry of Railways (1913-1945).
