JR West Group has decided to reorganize its hotel business, JR-West Hotels, through a merger, centered around West Japan Railway Hotel Development Ltd., which oversees the hotels, and four of its hotel subsidiaries (Nara Hotel Co., Ltd., Hotel Granvia Okayama Co., Ltd., Hotel Granvia Hiroshima Co., Ltd., and Amagasaki Hotel Development Co., Ltd.), in order to further grow and develop the trust that it has built up together with local communities. Details are as follows.

1. Purpose of company restructuring
Taking this reorganization as an opportunity, we aim to improve the competitiveness and prestige of the chain, strengthen our compliance and governance, leverage the trust and achievements that each company has built up with the local community, strengthen our management base and enhance our marketing capabilities, and refine unique new values and services as a hotel chain aiming to become a "food destination hotel" through further improvements in food and beverages. Moving forward, we will continue to weave together the charm of travel and the connections between people and people and cities, realize "Our Aspirations" set forth by JR West Group, and evolve the hotel business concept of "We want to be there for you with the biggest smile in this city," contributing to promoting customer travel throughout Western Japan and revitalizing local communities, and connecting to a prosperous future that touches the hearts of each and every customer.

West Japan Railway Hotel Development Ltd. will be the surviving company, along with Nara Hotel Co., Ltd. and Hotel Co., Ltd.
Granvia Okayama will absorb and merge with Hotel Granvia Hiroshima, Ltd. and Amagasaki Hotel Development Co., Ltd.
