Hotel Granvia Wakayama, operated by Wakayama Terminal Building Co., Ltd. (Tomoda-cho, Wakayama City, President: Masao Takeda), is holding a panel exhibition about the "Iwahashi Senzuka Tumulus Cluster," a national special historic site, in Front Desk lobby from Wednesday, July 3rd. Wakayama City, home to many tourist attractions such as Wakayama Castle, Tomogashima Island, and Wakaura, is also home to the "Iwahashi Senzuka Tumulus Cluster," a large group of burial mounds from the Kofun period. With the cooperation of "Wakayama Prefectural Kii Fudoki no Oka," we have decided to hold a panel exhibition about this little-known tumulus cluster. Through this panel exhibition, we hope to deepen people's knowledge about the "Iwahashi Senzuka Tumulus Cluster," a valuable group of burial mounds designated as a national special historic site, and encourage them to visit the site in person or rediscover its charm.
