Opened on September 28, 1997, this original Chapel was the first "standalone Chapel" in Nara Prefecture. With a 10-meter aisle and a 10-meter high ceiling, it uses 260 Yoshino cedar logs, and its framework of polished Yoshino cedar logs for pillars and beams creates Chapel filled with the warmth and fragrance of wood.
