Hotel Vischio Amagasaki, operated by Amagasaki Hotel Development Co., Ltd. (Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, President: Etsuko Oya), will be collaborating with JR Amagasaki Station to offer a limited two-day "Accommodation Plan with JR Amagasaki Station Experience Tour" starting May 1, 2024 (Wednesday), which includes an experience tour of JR Amagasaki Station to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Kobe-Osaka Railway.

This plan was created in cooperation with JR Amagasaki Station to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the opening of the railway line between Kobe Station and Osaka Station on May 11, 2024, and to allow railway enthusiasts, children, and families to enjoy the charm of the station and railways. Enjoy this exciting and thrilling accommodation plan that will make you love railways even more!

・An exciting simulator experience! Feel like a train driver or conductor!
The JR Amagasaki Station experience tour includes an opportunity to try out a train driver and conductor simulator. You can operate the simulators actually used for train driver and conductor training, so you can enjoy the thrill of a real training session. The tour also includes a commemorative photo session wearing the same uniform as the crew (*1), and a tour of the JR Amagasaki Station backyard (*2), where you can see behind the scenes of JR Amagasaki Station, an area that is normally off-limits to the public.

*1...Children's uniforms are only available in sizes 110cm, 120cm, and 130cm.
*2...Backstage tours may be canceled due to train delays or other disruptions on the day.

・Guest rooms offer train views! Rare 150th anniversary commemorative goods will also be given as gifts!
From the window of your room, you can see JR Amagasaki Station. JR Amagasaki Station is served by three lines: the Tokaido Line, the Tozai Line, and the Takarazuka Line, and is a stop for local, rapid, special rapid, and limited express Kounotori trains.
Please enjoy the train views from the windows, including the sight of trains passing by and the nighttime illuminations.
Additionally, as a special perk of this plan, we will be giving away 150th-anniversary commemorative goods. The 150th-anniversary commemorative goods are JR-West Hotels original acrylic boards printed with the [Kobe-Osaka Train Departure and Arrival Timetable and Fare Table] (early Meiji period) which is housed in the Kyoto Railway Museum.
