Osaka Station Hotel
Today, July 31, 2024 (Wednesday), a new hotel directly connected to the west exit of JR Osaka Station, "THE OSAKA STATION HOTEL, Autograph Collection," opens.
JR-West Hotels' new hotel brand, "THE OSAKA STATION HOTEL, Autograph Collection" (hereinafter referred to as "Osaka Station Hotel") (Kita-ku, Osaka City; General Manager: Shinji Sato), opened today, July 31, 2024 (Wednesday), inside "JP Tower Osaka," which is directly connected to the west exit of JR Osaka Station.
An opening ceremony was held today at 12:15 PM at the hotel's Main entrance. This location is where the first Osaka Station opened in 1874, and the brand concept "THE OSAKA TIME" embodies the idea of passing on the history, culture, and values that have been woven in Osaka to the future. At the ceremony, with respect for the pioneers and the memories of the railway, the speakers, instead of using scissors, held ticket punches and performed a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the motion of "entering the gate"*, emphasizing the story of the "Osaka Station Hotel."
