Umekoji Potel Kyoto
A project combining artists, local facilities, and Kyoto City. Wow! A tart that looks just like the real thing! The theme is "The relationship between the vessel and what is served in it."
Umekoji Potel KYOTO (General Manager: Misako Matsui), operated by JR West Holonic Co., Ltd. (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City / Representative Director: Ichiro Nagata), will participate in Kyoto City's initiative to create an environment where artists can easily work in the community by deepening collaboration between the community and artists. Original tart display plates and several other items designed and produced by Kyoto-based artist Akane Maeda will be available at "Cafe Polum" from April 14th. Through this project, we will deliver a new attempt to integrate the community and art.
