The lobby space is adorned with seasonal ikebana arrangements, opening with a Sogetsu-ryu design.
Hotel Granvia Okayama (1-5 Ekimae-cho, Kita-ku, Okayama City; President and CEO: Makoto Motoi) has launched a lobby decoration project starting June 1, 2025 (Sunday), which aims to allow visitors to experience the four seasons through Okayama's local culture and flowers.
In this new spatial design, ikebana works using seasonal flowers will be displayed by different schools of ikebana in rotation over a set period, offering visitors a fresh sense of wonder and a calming atmosphere.
The first installment, featuring the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, uses plants that reflect the seasonal feel of June, beautifully expressing the power of nature. It creates an impressive space in the center of the lobby and can also be enjoyed as a photogenic spot.
