Reservations for the "CO2 Zero STAY" accommodation plan have begun! <br />Sales period: September 1, 2023 (Fri) - March 31, 2024 (Sun)
JR West Japan Railway Hotel Development Ltd., Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; President: Masafumi Ise) will begin accepting reservations for special accommodation plans (*) that allow guests to carbon offset the equivalent amount of CO2 emissions generated by their stay at all 11 JR West Hotels, which include the four brands Hotel Granvia, Hotel Vischio, Nara Hotel, and Umekoji Potel.

This special plan utilizes "CO₂ Zero STAY," provided by JTB Communication Design Co., Ltd., and is a mechanism that offsets greenhouse gas emissions from your stay by investing the equivalent amount of CO₂ emissions generated during your stay into reduction activities through the national certification system "J-Credit."
*The J-Credit Scheme is a system in which the government certifies the amount of CO₂ emissions reduced through the introduction of energy-saving equipment and the use of renewable energy, as well as the amount of CO₂ absorbed through appropriate forest management, as "credits." The credits created under this scheme can be used for various purposes, such as achieving the targets of the Keidanren Carbon Neutrality Action Plan and carbon offsetting.
