Nara Hotel Co., Ltd. (1096 Takahata-cho, Nara City; President and CEO: Ryuta Harada) will celebrate its 115th anniversary on Thursday, October 17, 2024. To commemorate this milestone, the company will hold a "115th Anniversary Promotion" from April 2024 to March 2025, designating this period as its 115th Anniversary Year.

We view our 115th anniversary not merely as a reflection on the past, but as a special milestone filled with hope and anticipation for the future. We have chosen the "driving wheel," a symbol of the power that constantly rotates and moves forward, as the symbol for our 115th anniversary year, and have planned various events and activities to express our gratitude.
 
The driving wheel is a symbol that can be said to be the driving force of Nara Hotel, which was used to decorate tableware, glasses, and pianos during the time when the museum was directly managed by the Railway Board and the Ministry of Railways (1913-1945). Furthermore, the driving wheel embodies meanings such as: "A powerful message for a sustainable future," "Representing continuity from the past to the future and signifying steady evolution," and "The driving wheel, composed of multiple gears, expresses how individual forces come together and great power is generated through cooperation."
 
In this 115th anniversary promotion, we will express our gratitude for the continued patronage of our customers, and over the course of a year, we will develop plans and activities that embody the unique hospitality that Nara Hotel has cultivated since its founding in 1909, as well as the meaning of our symbol, the "driving wheel," in order to pass on the hotel's history to the future.
