Introducing "Melon Blanc," a Mont Blanc dessert made with Ibaraki Prefecture's "Ibaraking" melon! <br>Announcement of Green Sweets Buffet
Hotel Granvia Kyoto (General Manager: Kazumasa Ukyo), operated by West Japan Railway Hotel Development Ltd., Ltd. (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, President: Masafumi Ise), will be holding a "Green Sweets Buffet" at its 2nd-floor Cafe Restaurant "Le Temps" on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from May 10th (Fri) to June 30th (Sun), 2024. The buffet will feature a wide variety of sweets made with "green" ingredients, primarily seasonal ingredients such as melon and matcha.
Our top recommendation is the "Melon Blanc," a Mont Blanc dessert made with Ibaraki Prefecture's "Ibaraking" melon. Each plate is served individually to each customer (elementary school age and older). It features a melon bavarois topped with a Mont Blanc-style fromage cream and finished with matcha powder. We also offer all-you-can-eat fresh melon. In addition, the buffet table is lined with other green-themed sweets using ingredients such as green apples, pistachios, and mint. We also have a wide selection of light meals, so you can enjoy it as a late lunch.
