Hotel Granvia Hiroshima
[Hotel Granvia Hiroshima] Supporting local farmers' SDGs! We will be offering dishes using GAP-certified ingredients from Hiroshima Prefecture at three of our restaurants.
Hotel Granvia Hiroshima (Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, President: Masayoshi Shimada), in cooperation with Hiroshima Hotel Granvia Hiroshima (Governor: Hidehiko Yuzaki), will be offering dishes using four GAP-certified ingredients from Hiroshima Prefecture at three of its restaurants from November 1st (Fri) to November 30th (Sat), 2024.
GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) certified ingredients (hereinafter referred to as "GAP ingredients") are ingredients that meet standards for ensuring environmental protection and food safety in agricultural production. This certification aims to promote sustainable agriculture by implementing, recording, inspecting, and evaluating each stage of agricultural production. Hiroshima Prefecture is promoting the use of GAP ingredients and efforts to increase awareness of them, with the aim of realizing "sustainable agriculture."
Hotel Granvia Hiroshima has also endorsed this initiative and will be offering dishes using four GAP-certified ingredients—tomatoes, komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), bok choy, and rice—at its three restaurants: the cafe and buffet "Dish Parade," the Japanese restaurant "Setouchi," and the Chinese restaurant "Ran-en."
