For those arriving by train
If you are coming from the central ticket gate
Please take ESCALATOR located immediately to your right after exiting the central ticket gate to the second floor. The main lobby of Hotel Granvia Kyoto is located at the top of ESCALATOR.
*Please note that the hotel lobby is located on the second floor, not the first floor.
If you are coming from the west ticket gate
After exiting the west ticket gate, turn right and continue straight along the "North-South Free Passage." Take ESCALATOR on your right up, pass through the Japanese restaurant area, and you will arrive at the hotel lobby on the second floor.
Information for customers using wheelchairs
- We offer a shuttle service between the JR Kyoto Station ticket gates and the hotel. We can pick you up according to your arrival time (which you inform us of in advance) and drop you off after CHECK OUT.
- We will guide you from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor hotel lobby, and from the north-south passageway (2nd floor) within the station building to the M3F hotel entrance. Dedicated elevator and ESCALATOR services will be used to guide you.
Exit the Shinkansen Central Ticket Gate and turn right, then proceed straight down the "North-South Free Passage." Take ESCALATOR on your right up to the second floor, and after passing through the Japanese restaurant area, you will arrive at the hotel lobby.

Exit the Kintetsu Central Ticket Gate and turn left. Proceed straight down the "North-South Free Passage." Take ESCALATOR on the right side of the passage to the second floor, where you will find the hotel lobby.

Head towards the JR Central Exit and take ESCALATOR up to the 2nd floor. Continue straight ahead and you will reach the hotel's main lobby.
For those arriving
Approximately 20 minutes from Kyoto Minami Interchange on the Meishin Expressway.
You can reach us in about 30 minutes from Kyoto East Interchange.
If you are coming from the Tokyo or Nagoya area
Exit at Kyoto East Interchange and head towards Kyoto city center on National Route 1 (approximately 30 minutes).

If you are coming from the Osaka or Hiroshima area
Exit at Kyoto Minami Interchange and head towards Kyoto city center on National Route 1 (approximately 20 minutes).
