| We're revealing the recipe for "Seasonal Vegetable and Smoked Salmon Terrine"! From Chef Kawamoto "Finish by chilling it in Refrigerator. Please try making this special dish with your family!" This time, we've also prepared a recipe video featuring Kawamoto himself. Please refer to the video for instructions on how to cut and layer the vegetables. |
Terrine of seasonal vegetables and smoked salmon
[Materials]
| (A) | ·eggplant | 1 bottle |
| ·paprika | 1 piece | |

| (B) | ·okra | 5 bottles |
| Baby corn | 5 bottles | |
| Edamame | Appropriate amount | |
| ·broccoli | 4 bunches | |
| Suchini | 1 bottle | |
| Shiitake mushrooms | Five small pieces | |
| ・ Komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) | 1/2 bag | |
| ・ Green onions | 1 bottle | |

| (C) | Smoked salmon | 6 sheets |
|

| (D) | ·water | 200cc |
| • Powdered gelatin | 10g | |
| Granulated consommé | 1 teaspoon | |
|
|
||
| (E) | ·mayonnaise | 3 1/2 teaspoons |
| Lemon juice | 1/2 piece | |
| • Store-bought basil sauce for pasta | 1 pack (approximately 20g) | |
[How to make it]
| (1) | (A) The vegetables are roasted over an open flame, peeled, and then cooled. |
| (2) | Boil the vegetables in (B), drain the water, and let them cool. |
| (3) | Cut vegetables (A) and (B). (See the video for cutting instructions.) |
| (4) | Heat the water (D) over a fire, and once it boils, dissolve the granulated consommé in it, then add the gelatin. Let it cool slightly. |
| (5) | Line the mold with plastic wrap (tightly). If you don't have a loaf pan, you can use an empty milk carton (1 liter) as a substitute. |
| (6) | Layer the prepared vegetables (3), smoked salmon (C), and (4). (See the video for layering instructions.) |
| (7) | (5) Cover with the plastic wrap that was left out on the side. |
| (8) | Chill in Refrigerator for at least 3 hours. |
| (9) | (E) Mix together to make the sauce |
| (10) | Remove (8) from the mold, cut into 1cm thick slices, and place on a plate with the sauce from (9). Garnish with your favorite herbs or cherry tomatoes (not included in the ingredients list) and it's ready! |
