• [Notice] Changes to the Kyoto City Accommodation Tax System (effective March 1, 2026)
Thank you for your continued patronage of Hotel Granvia Kyoto.
Please be advised that the accommodation tax system was changed on March 1, 2026 (Sunday).
This tax rate will be applied to stays from Sunday, March 1, 2026, regardless of the date of reservation.
The accommodation fee does not include the accommodation tax. Please pay it at the hotel.
[Accommodation Tax Rate (Effective March 1, 2026)]
Accommodation fee under 6,000 yen: Tax of 200 yen
Accommodation fee between 6,000 yen and less than 20,000 yen: Tax amount 400 yen
Accommodation fee between 20,000 yen and less than 50,000 yen: Tax amount 1,000 yen
Accommodation fee between 50,000 yen and less than 100,000 yen: Tax amount 4,000 yen
Accommodation fee of 100,000 yen or more: Tax of 10,000 yen
*The accommodation tax rate is calculated per person per night based on the accommodation fee.
*The accommodation fee for the purpose of the accommodation tax does not include meal charges, consumption tax, etc.
*Please note that when making a reservation online, the price displayed does not include accommodation tax.
